I led the design and art direction for the @eBaySneakers social style guide as an extension of eBay’s broader brand playbook.

While the core @eBay handle highlights a wide range of products across categories and price points, @eBaySneakers was created to celebrate sneaker culture specifically. With that distinction in mind, I established a visual approach rooted in authenticity, ensuring that color, typography, sole-inspired graphics, and imagery would resonate with true sneaker enthusiasts.

The system introduced a flexible visual language that often leans into collage and layered storytelling to spotlight the sneaker and its cultural context. The guide was intentionally built to be clear and accessible for eBay’s internal design team to confidently interpret and execute. Rather than prescribing a rigid execution, I focused on defining a creative principle that every post should either elevate the sneaker itself or reflect the mindset of the authentic sneakerhead.
